Arranged, described, and rehoused the Edward Divine White, Jr. Papers, 1882-2012. Extent: Approximately 1,500 architectural reproductions, 2,575 photographs, 650 negative strips, 3,800 slides, 6 DVDs, 4 linear feet of publications, 40 linear feet of textual materials, and 4 oversize boxes of mixed media. Developed Architectural Photoreproductions preservation report for collection-specific best practices. Promoted collection to student media.

Digitized Heinz family photographs and manuscripts for access and preservation using multi-function scanner, satellite camera, and Photoshop and PastPerfect museum software applications. Items digitized include: 888 speeches ranging from 1-60 pages in length; 15 photo albums; and 10,000+ photographs of many types and sizes, ranging in date from 1855 to the 1990s. Arranged the electronic surrogates for the H. J. Heinz, Howard Heinz, H. J. Heinz II, and Senator H. John Heinz III speech collections, and rearranged the electronic surrogates for the Teresa Heinz speeches collection for access functionality. Assisted in rehousing three family photo albums to archival standard. Prepared archival containers for architectural blueprints.

Arranged and described six archival collections (47 cubic feet) listed below; also published finding aids to Web using EAD/XML and generated MARC records for general catalog. Converted legacy finding aids to EAD and published to Web. Developed reference guide for converting EAD records to MARC using Oxygen XML editor. Prepared analog and electronic copies of documents for offsite researchers. Prepared talking points for the Office of the President highlighting subjects of interest in CMU’s history ranging from 1936-2011 at 5-year intervals. Collected item level information from donor, by interview, regarding photographs found in the Undergraduate Research Office collection. Successfully migrated legacy digital data from obsolete media for access and preservation, and developed a report on data migration and best practices. Updated and maintained HTML for ‘Areas of Collecting‘ portal pages. Assisted with creation and maintenance of display cases.

Arranged and described at item level the Michael Sam March Papers, 1923-1991 31 linear feet. Prepared 25 of 50 linear feet of restricted legal files in the Minoru Yasui, 1927-1986 Collection Series 5 for off site storage; created container list, cataloged, and sealed containers. Rearranged and created repository container list for the Thomas J. Noel Collection, 1953- [ongoing]. Provided research assistance in Reading Room. Assisted in creating and maintaining library art exhibits. Investigated unofficial libraries on Auraria campus and interviewed responsible faculty. Conducted tours of the Archives and Special Collections for student groups.
